Is this build all right?

My Z97 motherboard from 2015 is bricked and I'm planning a new gaming build. Let me know if any of this seems out of place or plain incompatible:

 

Intel Core i5-13600K

MSI MAG Z790 Tomahawk WIFI (DDR5)

Corsair Dominator Platinum 2x16GB DDR5-6400

Corsair H100i Elite Capellix 240mm AIO

Samsung 990 Pro 1TB NVMe

Corsair 5000D Airflow

 

I'm gonna be bringing my 2018 model Corsair RM850x PSU and GTX 1080Ti from my old computer over to this one for now. I have a 75hz 1440p monitor and that's gonna be my target for visuals (the 1080Ti gets by fine with some tweaking)...down the line I plan to upgrade to a 4070Ti, still aiming for 1440p but with RT, DLSS and everything. However I intend to keep the PSU as it is for the foreseeable future so let me know if that's gonna be a problem for the 4070Ti (850w and lack of ATX 3.0).

 

I only intend to change the PSU if I end up getting a 4090, but I plan on setting up the rest of the build such that it shouldn't bottleneck even a 4090 if and when it comes (that's why i5 instead of i3).

 

What do you people think?

It's fine but I'd suggest a better AIO. In the Corsair ecosystem an H115i or H150i. Otherwise an LS720 or Liquid Freezer II 280 or 360.

Maybe it if was a junk tier unit. A Corsair RMx is perfectly good to reuse.

You could probably get a 13700/K or 7800X3D if you cut down on some of the expensive parts.

i heard from many people you dont need the performance of a 990 pro ssd if i was in your shoes i would bought a lower tier ssd and added that money to cpu i got 13600k now and if i could get a deal on 13700k the way i got the deal on 13600k i definitely choosed 13700k maybe the performance are close but those two extra p cores really matters for me also maybe buying ddr4 for now is a better option ddr5 are too much expensive and i really dont see that much usable diffrence honestly a good ddr4 with lowest latency you can find regardless of the clock of the ram i think is the way to go if i change my mobo and ram definitely i am gonna go down this road

Unless you plan on overclocking, save some money and get a B760 motherboard. Heard the 990 Pro's were having issues, so I would recommend 980 Pro instead.

Firmware issue that has been fixed. 980 Pro also suffered from similar issue.
