Evga cable compatibility

Go to solution Solved by Bartmole,

Thankyou, I will email Evga

Just because it's evga, it does not mean they are the same psu. They actually get their psu from different OEMs like FPS group or superflower or seasonic. So the first thing, you need to know is if both are from the same OEM. And even if it's coming from the same OEM, it does not mean both are using the same cable, keys/pins. Personally, I would shoot an email to evga, provide the make and model of your psu and ask them if you can use the cables and/or where to get another one. Another is if you have the patience, skill and tools(multimeter), You can watch this guide:

They use the same pinouts, so you can reuse the cables. EVGA has an FAQ where they write which PSUs have the same cables. Not sure why the others were so lazy and gave such non-answers.
