You can get away with AK400 to cool the 7600 even on full tilt, unless if you consider quietness only. But beyond that, your AMD rig looks solid if you dont wanna wait and see 7700XT ^^

Definitely the AMD build with 6700XT.

Not only does the Intel Arc A770 make no sense for that price. It's also very hit and miss in games that don't use DX12 or Vulcan where certain games may be completely unplayable.

I'd probably save some money on the RAM (get some CL36 or CL40 DDR5-5600), you really won't notice a difference.

You could also swap to an 8 core CPU (7700 or 7700X), lots of games are being designed around 8 cores now.

Common build advice: 1) Buy the cheapest (well reviewed) motherboard that has the features you need. Paying more typically only gets you features you won’t use. 2) only get as much RAM as you need, getting more won’t (typically) make your PC faster. 3) While I recommend getting an NVMe drive, you don’t need to splurge for an expensive drive with DRam cache, DRamless drives are fine for gamers. 4) paying for looks is fine, just don’t break the bank. 5) Tower coolers are usually good enough, unless you go top tier Intel or plan on OCing. 6) OCing is a dead meme, you probably shouldn’t bother. 7) "Bottlenecks" rarely matter and "Future-proofing" is a myth. 8) AIOs don't noticably improve performance past 240mm.

Decent list actually! If you are only gaming then the 7600 is a very competent CPU, it keeps up very well.
I wouldn't change anything, maybe spend a little less on the memory as stated, I run 5600mhz CL36 and I feel that is more than plenty.

The ram is only 30$ more expensive then the cheapest ddr5 32gb, and it will give me  more fps. I watched a video on the optimal memory for ryzen 7000

Depends.

Spoiler

Might find a cheaper cooler.  Mine cost $42 for the exact same thing.  Imho a cooler with a given number of pipes and a given amount of surface area is more-or-less interchangeable with another of the same pipe quality.  It’s not the worst buy though even at that price.  May be more cooler than you need but more doesn’t hurt with coolers.

that build will kick butt at 1080p high refresh or be not nearly as spry at 1440p. That video card has 16gb and the current min im um appears to be >8 so win.  There’s a 10 and 12 gig something-or-other but it may cost more.

if you got a 1080p@60 though it’s massive overkill for most things.  monitor though you’ll want one with higher refresh

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

What motherboard do you have? and PSU?  Just give full list 😄
Cause if everything is alright there I would just put a 5800X3D in your system and buy a much better graphics card.

I want a new motherboard because i currently dont like the spacing between the pcie lanes , it makes it so i cant plug in the usb headers and other cables. I have a gigabyte 750 watt gold psu

If you are using a Ryzen 2600, it might be better upgrade to a Ryzen 5xxx  CPU.

Let us know the your current full list to see if your motherbaord can support something like 5800X3D (5800X3D can sometimes out perform a Ryzen 7700X on AM5 board)

Interesting, what's the motherboard model?

It might be still better getting a better (more economical) AM4 board, while they are still available new. Especially you are still staying at DDR4

And get a better PSU 😂

Yeah, and Gigabyte resolved the issue. I hope you checked your serial number just to make sure yours isn't old stock.
