Are 12 Pin connectors on a 4080 burning still a problem?

Hi!

I'm getting an MSI Gaming X Trio 4080 soon, to be used in a BQ! Silent Base 801 case and I'm wondering if 12 Pin connectors burning still an issue with the default adapter? Is there a generally recommended decently priced angled adapter choice that can help with this?

I'm using a MSI 4080 Ventus X3 OC with the default adaptor and it's working fine right now. I haven't really seen new occurrences of burning adaptors lately but that's just me.

One complaint I have it's basically impossible to remove, or maybe I'm just incredibly weak but not matter how I pry I can't remove the dam adaptor. It's actually scary...

I am have been using my MSI RTX 4080 Gaming X Trio since release and its working without any issues, overclocked it 220mhz on core and 1800mhz on memory, no problems since november!

Thanks for the replies everyone! I decided to stick with the default adapter, make sure to plug it all the way in and have enough straight space until the cable starts bending.
