Xbox Wireless Controller not Working on PC

Snakehide

I've been using my Xbox Wireless controller on PC for a while now (the newer version with the capture button) and all of a sudden it will not work when I connect it via bluetooth or USB. Checked for drivers in device manager and there were none; updated the controller in the Xbox Accessories app but it still does not work. My Switch Pro controller works fine, though. Suggestions? Solutions? Thanks.

Edit: left stick and A-button work in settings for some reason, but games can't be played with it and it won't do anything else except turn on.

I did not. And I actually forgot to mention that the right stick and A-button seems to work in settings (will select and highlight icons and such). Bluetooth quitting is possible, I guess? But that doesn't explain why it doesn't work over a wired connection.

Edit: left stick, not right, my bad lol

I guess it's possible, I'm not rough with it at all and it was literally working last night. Nothing has happened to it since then. This is weird...

Edit: It also worked COMPLETELY fine in Xbox Accessories. This is so bizarre
