Budget (including currency): 11,5k DKK / 1.656,18USD

Country: Denmark

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Diablo 4, World of Warcraft, Call of Duty

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

So my issue is i'm having trouble chosing cus i have absolutely no clue as to what's the "better deal".

The "white pc" is brand new and costs 1650USD, while the black one is a used, which i can buy for 1584USD. So i'm seeking abit of expert chosing my next build

image.png.c4ee3cacc7f64debdcce05bcd9e763be.pngimage.png.9db0ba7e3c2ee1de40418da71f1d6c78.png

The white pc will come with a 3year warranty. The black pc is under warranty untill 13th december 2024.

The black one looks like a better deal as it has a very good gaming cpu and that 3080 is essentially a 4070. I would get the black one and the warranty is still for another one and a half years so I would go for that

That was sort of also what i was thinking. The only upside to buying the new one seems to me that you get a better GPU (by a tiny margin) and the warranty? But i guess i'll be grabbing that black one then. Appreciate the help!

I am abit at cocflict with the setups to be honest. But yes, the black system, is the right choice, but i dont know if its the best choice your budget.
Personally i would ask around on hardwareonline.dk as this is purely Danish geeks and alot of the users have a finger on the pulse of great deals.

You should take a look, users also sell fully built systems at a lower price, and they are often better speced, cos they dont add the value of assembly.

Both configs are not bad, but the used one is terrible value, considering it's used. Both however have the the same drawback - too little VRAM. For that kind of money i'd go something like this:

PCPartPicker Part List

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 3.7 GHz 6-Core Processor  (1373.00kr @ Føniks Computer)
CPU Cooler: be quiet! Pure Rock 2 CPU Cooler  (338.00kr @ Proshop)
Motherboard: ASRock B550M Pro4 Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard  (842.00kr @ Proshop)
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws V 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600 CL16 Memory  (464.00kr @ Proshop)
Storage: Samsung 970 Evo Plus 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 3.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive  (565.00kr @ Proshop)
Video Card: PowerColor Hellhound Radeon RX 7900 XT 20 GB Video Card  (6790.00kr @ Proshop)
Case: Phanteks Eclipse G300A (1 Fan) ATX Mid Tower Case  (541.00kr @ Proshop)
Power Supply: Corsair RM850e (2023) 850 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply  (1008.00kr @ Føniks Computer)
Total: 11921.00kr
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

It's bit over the budget (think by something like $65), but every single part is at least a tier up in quality. Also as you can see a lot of the parts are from the same Proshop, so maybe if you order them at once the shipping will slim way down or if they have a certain treshold for free shipping it will certainly reach it.

Thats a decent build but if you go for a 5600, ak400 and 3200 ram as well as a slightly lower wattage psu then you can get a very good full size atx mobo in a case with 4 fans (cc560)

Well with the 5600 techically won't need even a separate cooler, the box one works just fine. As for the PSU it's absolutely ok to go with 750W, but i always prefer to put in a bit of headroom in there, that's why chose the 850W. But yeah the Tomahawk mobo is SWEET. And yeah, the non-X CPU doesn't need the 3600MHz memory.
