Solid orange light around original xbox?

IgniVellex

My friend and I just got an original xbox and after purchasing a power cord because it was missing it, we tried to boot it up and it had no display and a solid  orange ring around the disc eject button. What does this mean, and is anything broken/in need of prepare? Thanks!

according to reddit its bunked. From a simple google search it seems to be a faulty ram chip.

I just turned it back on and now it is a solid green until I press the eject disc button, when it starts flashing green, then turns to orange. There is still no display. Also what do you mean by 'bunked'?
