Ghetto Wireless Receiver For Xbox 360 Controller

Hey everyone :)

Before i get to the ghetto mod , a little back story as to why i made it in the first place :)

i switched from xbox gaming to PC gaming about a year ago and all was fine with keyboard and mouse until i was gifted NFS Shift 2 Unleashed on steam

i soon realized that a keyboard wasn't precise enough for it so i set about ghetto modding a receiver

Parts you will need :

1. RF board From an old xbox

2. a USB cable with male one end and female on the other end

3 . some masking tape or insulation tape

NOTE : to sync the Controller with the board you will either need to sync it while the RF board is attached to the xbox OR

have a play and charge kit to plug into the PC while the receiver is plugged in

Step 1 :

remove the metal shroud From the plug on the back of the RF board , should look like this afterwards

Step 2 :

Place some Tape on the side of the connector which has 5 connections

Step 3 :

Plug on the female end of the USB and Download the relevant drivers from the microsoft website and installe them

NOTE , Like i said before you either have to sync it while the RF board is attached to the Xbox OR have a charge and play cable to sync it with your PC

NOTE 2 , this Video should help with the Driver install :) :
