best mid tower case with side window?

It doesn't meet all the requirements but a silverstone fortress FT02 should be on your short list.

 

With the fans mounted right under the mobo and the PCI cards pointing up you get loads of airflow right over your cards and more efficient cooling to boot.

You should be more specific on what you're looking for. The c70 and thermal take level 10 combat are my favourite cause the millitary green + the rugged looks are just so BADASS.

Eh, i like the 350D but it's m-ATX so my vote goes to the Fractal Define Design R4 Windowed

Cases are a personal choice, they're all built reasonably well. Pick one that you think looks cool or suits your needs and then ask us about it.
