Is this amount of backlight bleed normal? Asus ROG G14

I bought this Asus ROG G14 on Best Buy due to the sale. Is this amount of backlight bleed normal, should I get it replaced. 
 

This is actually an exchanged unit. Previously I had an open box unit but it had a rattling trackpad and 8% battery wear. So after I saw the sale, I exchanged it for this sealed box one. But I guess this also has issues.

Is that supposed to be black? If yes, then the panel contrast is pretty bad. But idk if it's that specific unit or if all G14's have these panels.

 

Backlight bleed looks pretty good for an LCD.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.
