Based on the name you mentioned, I highly doubt your GPU came with a radiator. So adding more fans to a radiator that's not connected to your GPU, is kinda pointless to reduce GPU temps.

Also, you are seriously lacking in details. Like, the temps your GPU reaches. And what case you have. What airflow patterns you pretend to have and such.

If it isn't thermally limiting then it is fine. I had the EVGA two fan version and that often hit the thermal limiter.

Presuming it doubles as case airflow.

Agreed-ish, depends on the case and layout. But unless he has those fans also act like intake, it COULD fight the GPU fans. So more info is required.

I have an EVGA GEFORCE RTX 2080TI x3  that gets super hot i have to increase my radiator fans just to keep its temp down but the strange thing is that it dose not complain when when its hot its literally like a heater

what is "super hot" to you? GPUS get Very hot, this isnt news, touching a 70c surface is gonna be ouchie, 85c while hot is still in spec, is very hot to touch.

What exactly did you test with? It should have shut down at around 105c, let alone 122c. Are you sure you are testing it in Celsius vs Fahrenheit

Youve done it but do it consistently. Press quote to get a response from someone.

At 122C it shouldve shut off as he said. What about the GPU clock frequency while doing 3dmark? Is it fluctuating between the base frequency (or even lower) and the boost? I genuinely hope this isnt a thermal sensor issue and its just the GPU that needs some cleanup and thermal paste and pads change.

i ran a 3d bench mark at 8k 120 fps max settings and yes its Celsius i know that insane

i mean the fans go as fast as possible to cool that thing sounds like an aircraft

do i have to do the test in Fahrenheit

Yeah unplug it and dont use it anymore. You need to bring that into a PC shop that knows what they are doing. It shouldnt be doing that at all, and will be a fire hazard.
