Problem.

So like i have an ethernet adapter in my uh motherboard and i connected the cable. The cable isnt damaged, and i dont have the ethernet option in my settings.

Download them on a different pc, put it on a flashdrive, move the file over.

i agree with what @tkitchand @whispous said about the driver but should windows not come with a basic driver to counter issues like this??

nope, a whole bunch of NICs don't have any way to work in windows until you install the proper driver.

Thing is. I dont see no ethernet adapter files here. I just see onboard lan. Is it that or im missing smth (mobo is b560mx e pro)

so i dont have drivers installed on my ethernet (new pc cuz i just built one) please can someone explain me what to do step by step cuz im legit frustrated

You really didn't need to make a new thread, as the answer was already provided to you in the other one. Find another computer, download the installer for drivers you need from the motherboard manufacturer's website to a USB drive, plug it into your computer, install.

Sounds like a good place to start for realtek drivers.

I just see lan for intel thats like for networking...

You sure its a realtek network adapter on that board? Because the manufacturer seems to think it's intel.

I just dont knkw anymore my mind is already frustrated enough. So basically. The Ethernet itself from the router is realtek, i go on their website (realteks webs) and downloaded the "Win10 auto installation program (NDIS)" to the flashdrive, now i went to the motheboard's website and i just see (thats network related) "On-Board LAN(intel)" (the mobo is b560mx e pro) now i dont know if i did already download the driver from the website or not. My mind is so frustrated that i just get mad from just sitting down lol.

Never had to install Ethernet drivers on a new system, it's included in Windows install since ages
