Disk utility in recovery mode does not show internal disk. (macOS)

I just got myself a second hand MacBook Pro 2015 13inch. 

 

I am planning to do a full system wipe just to make it mine. 

 

Currently I am using Big Sur on this machine.

 

When I entered recovery mode, disk utility does not recognize macbook's internal disk, which is really strange.

 

I've never encountered this issue before. 

 

Also in recovery mode under system restore, the os it was trying to install was Mavericks. So, I don't know whether is it supposed to be like this.

If it is not broken, let's fix till it is.
