You can't center-align an embedded link.

I pasted a youtube link, it automatically turned into an embed. I tried to center align it, but it does not work.

 

I expected that the embed would center align.

At a technical level, this is working as intended, because embeds are block-level elements and don't respect text-level formatting, including centering. At a user level, I see why it would make sense to be able to align them, although I'm not sure of any compelling use cases for actually wanting to align content at all.

Maybe make it so that when you select the embed, the left align isn't highlighted so the user understands you cannot change alignment of an embed.
