Hi, I recently swapped my motherboard with a better one and im now trying to get the right Realtek HD Audio Manager. . . . .

1) go to manufacturer's website

2) download the realtek driver from your motherboard model's webpage

3) uninstall your current realtek driver

4) install the new one

5) whatever features it does or does not have, is what that motherboard model supports.  You win some, you lose some.

did you just look at the picture or do have any clue what you're talking about?

You were looking for equalizer and custom settings, I'd assume those are in the Advanced options there, as they don't seem to be in the standard settings. But now that I read OP once again, I understand. As others have said, get the newest version. Go to your motherboards website, and download it from there, that could solve it.

Which PCB revision? I own one of those boards, revision 1.1 and it has different hardware than the other PCB revisions.

@SpurnOfHumanity

here's their site for my board, v1.1

http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3996#driver

look up near the top, in blue they have the versions hotlinked so you can click on the one you have, and navigate from there.

This may or may not be their universal realtek driver with all of their special versions in it. Use at your own risk.

sometimes using the website for drivers isnt always the best choice... i just put in the utility disc... simple.

old buggy outdated drivers are never simple or easy, and never, ever the right choice.

Someone should make a website with torrent links of all the various Realtek driver versions, and have compiled compatibility notes.....

...so who wants to help me make a website?  :lol:
