Gamepads for racing.

Decided to buy a gamepad for racing games on PC. Because I think it would be better, let me know feedback regarding steering control hardware. I'm not experienced in this domain, so eveyrthing is flexible for the best. I can even keep my keyboard as I am improving with it if theres no real disadvantage. but I beleive there is one

 

I am looking for Quality / $$$. || budget preference: I dont want to scratch every inch of advantage with $$$. Just something greater thats also good.

quality includes: latency performance, ease of setup, features, durability, (compatibility***very important), Ergonomy, warnaty/guarantee

I dont want to buy something unless im gonna use it.

Games will play:

-NFS Wanted 2012

-Dirt 3

 

 

Other secondary priority uses:

-helicopter and jet flying in BF. improving long range aiming via sensivity control (using keyboard only, am an ACE so priority is racing)

I would buy an XBOX control that works with pc, i love the shape of them.

Yep 360 controller either wired or wireless is still pretty much the best controller for PC, they are natively supported in most games without any setting up, work with steam big picture mode and are very well made responsive controllers

Do not buy Logitechs F310. Anything is better. What you want is something with trigger style shoulder buttons. Like F510/F710 or 360 controller.

Ditto. A friend of mine let me use his F310, and it was so uncomfortable to use.
