6950xt hotspot too hot

I have an RX 6950xt, the power color red devil edition.  The difference in my edge and hotspot temps are above 30 degrees C.  To help with that I was thinking about switching from the stock tim to carbonaut.  I'm ok with the potentially worse edge temp if my hotspot goes down.  So for example even if my edge temp goes up 10 degrees of my hotspot drops 15 I'll be cool with it.  My question here is: Is it with it to try carbonaut or should I just go straight to something like kryonaut or other high end thermal paste.

Almost forgot that I briefly (like a week) had 6900xt red devil that I did replace the paste on but it didn't really work
