Coming back to Skyrim after years, want some good mod and ENB recs

cleric_warlock

I'm looking specifically for good ENBs and graphical overhaul mods that will put the full power of my newest custom build (12900KS CPU, 3090TI GPU, 32GB DDR5-6400 RAM, Win 11 Pro OS) to good use. I have two 1440p monitors to work with, one ultrawide that goes up to 120Hz and the other 2560 x 1440 that goes up to 240Hz. I'm using the flawless widescreen app to get the game scaled appropriately to my monitors, but will only be using one monitor since trying to set up dual monitor Skyrim would be too crazy for me. I'll go with the one that winds up giving me the best experience. I'm using the regular version of Skyrim and want all the recs you can give me!

I remember open cities being a must have. Seamless transitions entering cities.

Been a few years since I played/modded Skyrim and even longer since OG Skyrim but there are tons of ENBs that can make the game look vastly different. So I would first figure out how you want your game to look like and then look at the requirements of each ENB. Thing is ENBs will only look the way they are supposed to with the right mods (weather and lighting). The right mods for the ENB are usually found in the mods description.

Also SMIM and LOD generator mod (xLod or so) are things that will make your game look much better and not so 2011.
