Posted March 22, 2023 I recently built a new PC. I have a gigabyte motherboard and when I installed my m.2 ssd it only showed up in the BIOS sometimes and i'm clueless on what to do from here. Posted March 22, 2023 If you are just adding this drive to your computer as extra storage, you will need to format it first. To do so search for "Disk Management" in Windows and run that. You should see your drive here if it is installed correctly. Right click the storage of the correct drive > Initialize Disk > Run through the setup processing using the defaults. You may set a drive name and letter. Your drive should appear right away or after a restart. If you are trying to use this drive for the OS, re-seating and checking the pins in the slot would be a good first step. 5800X3D - RTX 4070 - 2K @ 165Hz Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
