I thought it odd that Linus mentioned Intel graphics and how they need to improve but didn't mention AMD graphics.  There are some nice FM2+ motherboards that would fit in there which would provide the best graphics experience.

I still like the Inwin BP655 better. It's smaller and can hold everything this silverstone can hold for the same price (in Canada anyways).

I LOL'd when Linus said this silverstone case had a 450w PSU in it. Talk about overkill.

Anyways, for a tiny gaming rig with decent performance, this is what I'd build:

-Inwin BP655 miniITX case with 200W PSU (PSU is actually decent quality and can be replaced)

-AMD A8-7600 Kaveri APU 45/65W adjustable TDP (when ever they eventually release it...)

-Sapphire R7-240 2GB Low-profile (to run in dual-graphics with the APU)

-8GB 2133 dual-channel RAM

-Gigabyte GA-F2A88XN-Wifi motherboard (very good quality with tons of features)

-128GB SSD + 1TB HDD.

Lol, even my iPad would EASILY outperform this (the partpicker link). So would Shield, so not really much point to it other than having windows on your TV.

But then again, you could just use a laptop (if you have one that is).

That little low-power AMD quad-core is probably a lot more capable than you think. Also, I never said anything about running windows on it. Windows is way to bulky of an OS for an HTPC IMO. I'd be running some version of Linux or Steam OS on it instead. For what it would be used for, its way more than capable.

OK, yes, true. Take the Apple TV for example. It is capable for being streamed to much like Steam's In home streaming is going to work. And is runs a single core ARM 8 (Apple A5 but with one core) at 1GHz. Compared to this, your machine would be much more capable actually, so yeah you're right.
