Can I use Macbook Pro USB-C cable to charge windows laptop?

Go to solution Solved by Kilrah,

Yup, no problem.

Hello all,

I have a Framework laptop with its original power adapter, but the detachable USB-C cable is fraying.

I do have several Macbook Pro USB-C power adapters lying around. Can I just use a USB-C to USB-C cable from the Macbook Pro and use it with the Framework power adapter? Are there different standards of USB-C cables I should be aware of? I would assume that the cable that came with the Macbook Pro is of good quality and can handle sufficient power / wattage to charge any other laptop?

Thanks!
