They don't look good the coolers arnt very cool or quiet but they are fine if you are water cooling but at this pricepoint id just get a better card instead of water cooling parts for it. I currently have a ASUS 7870 DCU2

The Powercolor Myst has a shitty cooler but the 7870 XT from Saphir is all good "If you can find one". Personally the gigabyte 1100Mhz HD 7870 is better.

Voltage is locked tho

That's a good thing as there is no need to try and get 1 more fps at the cost of unstability and lifespan.

Well why I bought the one I have is after 2 or 3 years I will OC it after the warranty is gone and see how long I can play AAA titles on ultra settings at 30+ FPS

Not really as OCing GPUs is offten misunderstood. Allot of time a GPU OC will net only 1-3fps on the min. That's not something you want to bank on nor is it something worth the risk of permanatly damaging your GPU over. I recomend if you need more poerformnce get a better GPU.

Normally with OCing to get the most gains you need to buy the best version of that series of card when you could have just moved up to the next highest series.

7870 tahiti le sapphire version. I actually undervolted mine and overclocked it to 1100/1550. The cooler is good (idle very quiet, gaming not soo much but not unbearable either) And just the price/performance ratio is ballers. OCd you can get past the hd 7950 in performance as log ans vram isn't the limiting factor.

7870. the 7870 is more comparable to higher 670s and lower 680s and a 660 is well a 660.

i5 3570 | MSI GD-65 Gaming | OCZ Vertex 60gb ssd | WD Green 1TB HDD | NZXT Phantom | TP-Link Wifi card | H100 | 5850

This is what I intent too when i'm past 60 fps on 1080p...undervolting. It's just...rational that way. By the way, crysis 3 is boring,

I would get the 7870 tahiti le, if power consumption isn't problem for you. It doesn't cost that much more than normal 7870 and performs like gtx 660ti and 7950. They even oc quite well.

Here's fan noise of the Sapphire version

To me that's not loud.

I own the Powercolor Myst version, and if you tweak fan profile and clocks little bit, you can get it run.. hmm.. not whisper silent, but more silent than it is as stock. :)
