I just wanted to say "Hi!" This is my first post.

 

I've been lurking at a few threads. I'm interested in building my own keyboards, but haven't gotten that far. I'm running a 12th gen Intel desktop I put together December of 2022 that I had serious problems with (turned out to be the used CPU I got on eBay), but it's working fine now (with a used CPU off Amazon, hehe!).

 

I'm also interested in old tech (mainly videogame consoles) and have some soldering skills (some, not all). The last soldering project was a friend's laptop that wouldn't start. It turned out to be a bad capacitor (was easy to see because it would smoke when plugged in). Now it starts. I'm also into most everything radio (FM, AM, IBOC, DAB, FRS, GMRS, HAM, CW, ATSC, NTSC, PAL, etc.). I own a couple CRT's.

 

My first computer was a Color Computer II. (Now you know I'm old). Yes, I used MS DOS back in the day too (after the CoCo 2).

 

Oh sorry! No tech talk here! Hehe!

 

But I'll be back with a few questions later.
