Can I tape my Aio cooler?

Cetotos

So i ordered a aio cooler for am4 but it doesnt fit in my motherboard... it doesnt include a backplate of some sort so im screwed. My stock cooler DOES fit, and the website says its am4 compatible. There isnt a bracket for an am4 socket. Please help really fast, its urgent! (Btw the second photo is the supposed "am4" bracket)

Very fast update: I think its my motherboard. Its doesnt have those adapters for the clip in coolers, since we picked up the parts and then a shop built them. They were removed to fit the stock cooler and probably thrown out. Where can i find these parts??

Put your stock backplate on.

The thing on the second photo isn't a bracket (that goes on the motherboard's back), it's a piece that holds the pump on the CPU.

Have you actually read the included manual?

Asus Uses standerd am4 mounting pattern. And The backplate looks like am4 so whats the problem here. And you dont have your stock Cpu bracket read your Cooler manual if it doesnt have any brackets  you need to use teh stock ones 088195276649a2f761a0da025480218f

You need original backplate that came with the motherboard.
If you lost it or don't have one, you can buy one for cheap online.

Example :
https://www.amazon.com/DGZZI-Backplane-Heatsink-Motherboard-Mounting/dp/B084GQFFBY/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=am4+backplate&qid=1661971516&sr=8-3

Give the shop a good telling off, a good shop will include any parts they removed, only a bad one would throw them out.

I bought a pre-built kit from an online store, they included all the component boxes and spare parts, including the stock cooler even though they fit a better one.  You paid for all those parts, they should be included.

Router:  Intel N100 (pfSense) WiFi6: Zyxel NWA210AX (1.7Gbit peak at 160Mhz)
WiFi5: Ubiquiti NanoHD OpenWRT (~500Mbit at 80Mhz) Switches: Netgear MS510TXUP, MS510TXPP, GS110EMX
ISPs: Zen Full Fibre 900 (~930Mbit down, 115Mbit up) + Three 5G (~800Mbit down, 115Mbit up)
Upgrading Laptop/Desktop CNVIo WiFi 5 cards to PCIe WiFi6e/7

The short answer is you have to use whatever mounting system it says,Anything else won't have enough mounting pressure or too much which can break your cpu.

What AIO cooler did you purchase?
