M2 Air or M1 Pro

I'm looking for a new laptop and I've decided to go for a mac.

My first choice was the M2 Air, but the config I want costs about 100€ less than the M1 Pro Macbook Pro.

Is the Macbook Pro worth the extra 100€?

Depending on what kind of workloads you wanna do the M1 Pro can easily outperform the M2 Air when it starts to throttle. Not to mention the SSD is half the speed on M2 Air unless you spent a lot of extra $ on higher capacity.

Personally I'd choose the M1 Pro MBP over the M2 Air, especially if they're that close in price. The M1 Pro has a better display, better speakers, larger battery, active cooling, and more I/O. It's larger and heavier than the Air, but I think it's worth it to get those better features.
