HELP!! MY GAMES DONT'T WORK

I had a broken install of windows, it crashed a lot and there were also many bugs, so, I did a clean install of windows 11 and added another ssd for the boot drive. Since then, I haven't been able to run any of my games I had on here previously. I even put back all the dll files in system 32. Even doing a fresh install of a game is useless. PLS SEND HELP

system 32 for dll's? How did you install your games and on what drive, maybe the ssd became faulty, or the files of a corrupted windows install still remain somewhere on those drives.

that sounds like the wrong thing to do...

 

- reinstall windows

- install all necessary drivers

- do a fresh install of the games.

I had the old windows files so i put the missing dlls in the new windows install.

you shouldnt put corrupted windows dll's into a new windows install. As they may have caused the issue.

Okay, I cntr z and removed those dlls and installed all dxs and c++s, but still error.

thats an error for corrupted dll's or missing dll's, perhaps you still have more corrupted dll's or missing dlls, i would recommend reinstalling your windows again, not transferring any dll's, and downloading games normally, through steam for e.g

I have another query though. how do I do a clean install of windows, as this time, I paid around 5 bucks for unlicensed windows. Do I juat create a bootable pen drive or what exactly do I do?
