GTX titan black sounds good. Need to check the price. How long would it last in the gaming industry? Like 4-6 years? Ish.

Also been looking at purchasing 2 gtx 780ti's and using SLI with them. Not sure it would be worthwhile just to get a Titan black instead. I need to do more research.

nvidia cards are generally better than AMD because of their openGL and CUDA acceleration, used in many computing tasks such as video editing, rendering, physics processing, etc...

AMD cards are cheaper, and aimed at gamers, while GTX Titan is more for developers

PS, 2 780tis will perform better than a 295x2 because a 780ti outperforms a single 29 920x

also, 2 780tis cost the same as a 295x2 ($1500)

I absolutely agree with this. I heard alot about AMD not having as much 'freedom' as gtx.

I guess its just AMD's way of trying to squeeze as much money as possible.

False. the R9 290X's in the 295X2 are OCed because they ARE water cooled.

And, the 780Ti's are MUCH hotter AND louder than the 295X2. I had a huge rant about this on another thread but I'm too lazy to say it again.
