I use windows 11 because I have a vertical monitor and I like using windows+z to snap windows to top and bottom half. No other reason whatsoever truthfully.

The best advice you will receive today: stay the hell away from 11 for as long as you can. I am using 11 Pro on my new build and it is trash. The only reason I haven't gone to 10 yet is that I am lazy. Still no fix for the impossibly slow file explorer when accessing mechanical drives, bizarre issues adding older network-shared printers, recent snafu with the task manager color scheme. That's just a few inexcusably stupid problems I've encountered and every one of them is all over the internet.

That's kinda what I've been hearing. I'm getting a laptop for work and it comes with windows 11 pro and honestly before i even use it want to just put windows 10 on it so i don't have to do it later. Thank you.

I haven't had any technical issues with Windows 11 on my laptop, but I am not sure if I like the right click menu design yet.

My desktop is still Windows 10 but are considering upgrade.

I don’t think windows 11 is bad enough to warrant a reinstall for windows 10. But I wouldn’t upgrade to 11 from 10 unless you have vertical monitors.

You'll be fine either way, especially if it is a work laptop. My frustration is primarily due to the excruciatingly low file explorer speed with mechanical drives and the whole network printer saga. Every windows 10 computer I have at home sees the printer without problems, but not this bastard. Other things are mainly annoyances, the kind I don't recall seeing since windows 98.
