Well finally settled on a case and ordered it (snapped it up for £90 inc p&p, 151ish dollar's for those across the water). While cruising the web for airflow idea's i came across and settled with this:

Ignore the H100, i plan to use a Kraken x60

My question is what fan's should i use for the 11 other slot's? As i typed this out i realise how overkill this come's across lol, but i like it. The person who done this diagram has bought 2x 120mm NZXT fans and 2x 140mm NZXT fans and 2x 140mm Bitfenix Spectre Pro LED fans, he is using the 4stock case fans also. Should i mimic this? Or is there better option's open for me? Paying premium for fans is an option (just lake longer to buy) but if there's a cheaper option that outputs similar result im all for it.

Regards

Preston

I don't think that that many fans is even necessary. For a while, I just used 2 120mm fans in the front of my case, one 140 in the top, and one 120 attached to my H60 and my temps were fine. If you are not using them, remove the drive cages so you will get better airflow.

This seems like a pretty good fan setup. The rear 140mm fan is unnecessary, and so are the two angled fans on the cages. Also you can do just 2 fans on the rad instead of 4 if you want more silence, temps will still be very good.

I have a Switch 810, and let me tell you that it's the worst at sound dampening. I'd strongly recommend against populating all the fan slots. In fact I'd recommend the bare minimum needed for decent temperatures. I only have 5 fans in my case. two 140mm stock fans in the front, an AF140 in the rear and a SP120's on the H100i.

I'd just get the quietest fans you can get your hands on with this case.

Hmm well i have a Sentry LXE on thw way so i can reduce sound etc while idling/netsurfing etc and i generally phase out sound while i game. Still suggest quietest, regardless of airflow?
