Is 3200Mhz worth it over cheaper 2666Mhz ram?

Go to solution Solved by podkall,

Depends on your CPU, you can see 20fps difference in some games, or even 40fps difference in some games, between 2666Mhz and 3200Mhz

main difference is seen in gaming, and in fast CPUs or Ryzen CPUs...

Depends on your use case and CPU.

Ram I'm looking for my custom pre built:

2x 16gb 2666Mhz ddr4 memory

2x 16gb 3200Mhz ddr4 memory

I did some research on both 2666Mhz and 3200Mhz ram, and I see that 3200Mhz ram serves little difference in terms of performance for gaming. But I would like to know if the 3200Mhz is more responsive than 2666Mhz when you are browsing on Google and also if 3200Mhz will have any significant performance when I use blender or unity game engine and that.

I'm on a budget so I just want to know if it's worth an extra £30-50 extra for 3200Mhz in my case.

Dunno where you got prices usually there's less than £10 difference between both and everyone get 3200MHz RAM 😛

Go for the faster memory, in this case.
