No its AWFULL

Any amd fx cpu has been bad since they came out and hasnt been able to properly play games since 2015.

This computer today is quite literally useless fornplaying games. Some games wont even launch or run at 30fps

Avoid this at all costs and any other amd fx system.

To put it in to comparison a core i3 2100 was beating their amd fx 8350 top of the class cpu no issue back when it came out 2 years after one of intels most budget cpu's. Keep in mind the i3 wasnt good at gaming either.

The only thing that is alright is the gtx 1070 but thats a cheap used gpu nowadays.

Just now, QuantumSingularity said:

Its overclocked to be forced to run about 1ghz faster all core than it will at stock and this is 4 years ago. It already is holding back that 1070 a lot and this video shows some of the issues it has but has been edited to look way better than it is.

This is not representative at all of the experience op will have

You are basically buying a €270 GTX 1070, because that's the only way the rest of the system can be sold for more than €30. DDR3 is all but dead and not old enough yet to become collector's item. The FX CPUs... we don't talk about them. The storage is properly ancient and cheap. 250GB ssds NEW are now so not interesting that stores which had large stocks of them are giving them away FOR FREE with any purchase over €100. I already have 3x 240GB A-Data SU630 drives as gifts from 2 local stores for different purchases one of which was keyboard and mouse. 1TB HDDs are basically artifacts now. For the same money OR LESS you get 2TB or even 1TB m.2 SSD. So yeah... Someone is trying not only to get rid of his ancient low/mid tier PC, but is also trying to make money out of it. Not worth it AT ALL.

At half the price it could be worth it for the GPU if you don't have one and don't want to spend big time on 6650XT and want to wait for the prices to fall properly to get something high tier (that's why i am still on 1070)

But seriously unless the PSU is something extremely good like 80+ Gold EVGA or SeaSonic 500+W AND the case is some good airflow mid/full tower modern one, it's extremely not worth €300.

I concur.  No.  That’s a really low budget.  I couldn’t put together a whitebox out of even used parts for that.  There are used Dell optiplexes that sell for twice that.

best bet is probably some used oem desktop system.  Dell, lenovo, HP, something like that..  Things that are wanted (but might still be too much money)

-8th gen or newer (so it will run win11)

-a power cable on the power supply (even just one can matter)

-full width case (makes gpu choices much wider)

I don’t know if that can be gotten for $300

Wait.. I’ve got a way.  It’s kinda ugly, and there are a lot of eBay parts.  The graphics are also crap, but you could throw a dGPU in it later.  Anything that doesn’t say amazon is eBay buy it now. Free shipping I think, but one would need to check.  Best I could do.  The graphics are not great (really) but it will play games. Crap… storage!  Ummm… some sata SSD off Amazon that is in budget. 256 if you can, 128 if you must.

The scariest one imho is the motherboard.  (I’m not fond of the PSU either) In theory it works but there may be issues.  Use PayPal for eBay, and Put the thing together and test it

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.
