[Suggestion] Add a button to OP for deletion request.

It is simple, people dont know how to request their threads to be deleted and they dont bother asking. Instead they just edit their threads and that leaves empty threads hanging around (I have seen two today and I have been here for 2 hours)

 

As far as implementation goes, this can use the already existing "Report" feature but it should be a single click for the user, instead of having to type what you want done.

Maybe add it as a radio button option in the Report Post dialogue box? (I don't know if the CMS is granular enough to change the list when you report your own post.)

I dont think people would even bother clicking report button.

Maybe limit deletion to <x> number of days so people don't accidentally delete MOTF or some other huge thread and clog up the database with transactions. We already had a single user highly active in that thread delete their account and had this exact issue.

If its just another button for report, it will go to Moderator review. And we can deny deletes if the reason is reposting or similar.
