Non-gaming benefits of 75hz over 60hz?

So I'm getting a new primary gaming monitor and my current monitor is capable of up to 75hz and I'm going to use it as a secondary monitor.  Is there any reason to run it at 75hz instead of 60hz?  The only things it'll be displaying is probably OBS, maybe some Twitch and YouTube, Discord, etc.  Would the difference be even noticeable?

You'd have to look for yourself. You might notice a difference in general interaction with the OS/programs, you might not. The visual difference in refresh rates is extremely subjective.

it would make the cursor a little smoother, that's about it. To be clear, there isn't a reason not to run it at 75Hz, but for just Twitch, YouTube, Discord, etc. it isn't that big a deal and while it will be noticeable for scrolling through web pages it's not like it's a night and day difference. 

 

Source: daily a 144Hz panel with 60Hz panels surrounding it that while they can overclock to 75Hz have driver issues when trying to do that.

If the 75hz is not overlooked and the color or brightness is not reduced. There is no reason to operate at 60hz. Just set it to run at 75hz.
