LTT Store Shipping Times

Azuryn

So I ordered some clothing during a Black Friday/Cyber Monday deal and I'm still waiting for the order to ship. The shipping label was created about 3 weeks ago and I haven't seen movement yet. Is this a normal time frame?

I ordered the same time as you, my shipping label was created on the 7th December, and nothing has happened since. Reading posts around these forums, this is currently typical if not what would be considered acceptable (other posters discussing the lack of response from support is also disappointing). Although, mine is an international order, so I guess am still within the 7-30 day timeframe in their shipping policy? There are no pre/back orders in my order.

It's unfortunate, as it's my first order from LTT. Perhaps I should have looked around the forums before ordering.

Yeah I'm kinda surprised at how long this is taking. I wasn't expecting Amazon Prime shipping times, but I ordered over a week ago and it still hasn't been fulfilled. I know theres a message at checkout that says they can't guarantee delivery by Christmas, so I wasn't expecting it anyway, but not even having it in transit before then is a shock. And it's not like I'm in some far away country, I'm in California.

I was thinking that maybe LTT is just on a holiday break and they didn't get to my order in time last week so it's just waiting for everyone to return. But seeing that apparently orders going back at least a month remain unfulfilled, I guess theyre just so buried in orders that they can't get them out. Welp. I hope I get my beanie before winter is over, which in California could be any day now.

30-day shipping policy? Meaning 30 days only to ship? Lol, that is huge. Wonder why they don't indicate that when you are ordering. It would definitely close majority of questions from us.

I also ordered 27/11. Label created 8/12. I was sure that meant that it was to be shipped in 1-2 days. Still no updates.

Wonder what makes such a time lag in shipping since it was already fulfilled by 8/12. They have only 1 person for packing? )))

I should clarify, their shipping policy states "Deliveries outside of the US & Canada may take anywhere from 7-30 days to arrive, depending on the destination country." So technically you could argue I have about a week left for it to arrive. Doubtful though.

Ordered November 27th. Contacted support on Dec 22nd after receiving no updates on the order. Zero response and zero updates on the order.

Extremely disappointed to see this is the norm. Been wanting to get some LTT merch for a long time and finally pulled the trigger on Black Friday assuming it would be here in time for Christmas (did not see anything advising otherwise, might have missed it) only to be STILL WAITING FOR SHIPPING CONFIRMATION 4 WEEKS LATER. I literally live in the same province and only about a 3 hr drive from Vancouver.

I get that Black Friday and the holidays significantly increases order volume and causes delays but ZERO response from support after a week and no tracking info after 4 weeks is ridiculous. They seriously failed at scaling for this and should have planned better. This being "normal" is an absolute joke.

I could literally drive to the LTT warehouse and back in a single day and I'm now past the 30 day international shipping timeframe (despite being local) with nothing to show for it.

I've always thought pretty highly of them overall and have been following and watching them grow for years and feel let down. This is especially frustrating considering they have an ad for their own merch in literally every single video and seemingly can't fulfil orders even outside of the extra holiday load according to other commenters.

On top of all that this shit is expensive! It still cost me $130 CAD even after the Black Friday deal for a hoodie and sweat pants (the ShortCircuit Sweatpants / Hoodie combo deal). Yes, I get this higher end than just regular clothing but this is like Lulu lemon expensive even after the sale prices. Paying in USD and having it converted when I live in the same province as the seller / shipper AND having to pay $15 (USD FFS) is just twisting the knife at this point. Full regretting even placing the order at this point. What an absolute joke. LTT merch feels like an outright scam at this point.

Sigh. Rant over.

This further proves that they are still printing shipping labels, way ahead of time. Unacceptable !

Why? There is nothing wrong in printing labels. It is even convenient, as I've already created an order in the forwarding company that has to receive it in the USA.

The problem is that there is no feedback to all the buyers. It is obvious that they should have contacted all the waiting clients in the first week they see a delay, and then give regular feedback at least once per two weeks. But there was no indication on ANY delays when ordering, and not a single email afterwards. That is a mistake in client relations.

My order was 27/11, label 8/12. So, Alex T88, relax ))) You are way behind me.

As I stated in my previous message and in all other messages I wrote so far, it is very wrong to print labels way ahead of time, prior to shipping. After the label is printed, under normal circumstances, in a maximum of 2-3 days, the parcel departs. My screwdriver departed 16 days after the label was created. Furthermore, this happened a week or so, after Nick Light announced that they will stop batch printing labels (i.e. printing labels way ahead of time, prior to shipping). Apparently, this is still the norm for LTT. This is not only a mistake in client relations, this is also bad practice. In regards to the way they communicate with their clients and the way they handle logistics. So yeah, any order stuck at label created, for more than 5 days is wrong and is bad practice. Especially if you are not told about this from the beginning, prior to placing the order.

I made my order on Nov 28th.
Label was created on Dec 8th.
Today on Dec 30th, just a few minutes ago, I received the first real tracking update: "Parcel Scanned in Terminal".

Congratulations and a happy New year! )

Mine was scanned at terminal 2022‑12‑27, departed terminal 2022‑12‑28 (label 2022‑12‑08, purchase 2022‑11‑27). That is seen only at WIZMO (original tracking from the lttstore.com). On UPS tracking it is still "label created".

I would expect better from a company that advertises their store in every single video.

Would be nice if they were more transparent about why there are such massive delays, like how many orders do you get per day, and how many orders are physically sent pre day, not just labels being printed.

My shipment has been picked up last night Jan 03, I should get it soon as I'm also in BC.  Hopefully this means we're on the other side of the Xmas rush

I couldn't agree more. Some of the backpack and screwdriver debates are difficult to nail down since it was stated up front that they are back/pre-order. But for this nonsense to occur on normal, in-stock products? That is entirely unacceptable. Either go hire 10 people off the street right now to help fulfill orders (and reply to emails!), or pull down your store until you get your sh!t in order.

Edit: According to the staff roster at LMG.com, they have 61 confirmed employees. Surely they could pull people temporarily from other departments to mitigate the disaster. Heck, as CEO, Linus himself should be over there helping to pack t-shirts, if that's what it takes.

As per one of late videos Linus said he has 80 people. But I totally agree that there should be special management decisions for solving peak load situations that can be very well anticipated months in advance, like black Friday, Christmas, etc. And there is more than one solution possible to solve it. And timely feedback is also important and pretty easy to accomplish.
Anyway, Linus and others in LMG are just people, don't get too excited. Plus, majority are too young and unexperienced. It seems that many things for them are reinventing the wheel: while classic companies would hire a right experienced professional for the job, they'd rather learn it themselves with all the stepping on rakes. I think they should start by hiring a good HR and HH specialist. But that is a classic situation nowadays for a company ruled by young leaders. The fish rots from the head. All the universities, MBAs and other courses were not invented just to take your money. They teach people with the best problem-solving ideas and business practices the humanity has developed up till today. Also, this is why usually spending some 10+ years in big companies and making some career there as manager is important before starting your own business.

My package finally arrived today to the forwarding company in USA. Hooray! 40 days from the order. It will take some 10 days more to reach me.

I'm not bothered by the wait time for the screwdriver; it says so right on the product page. what could use a little work is the mail with the title "A shipment from order [number] is on the way", when it's going to take another 4 or so weeks before it's actually on it's way.

Posting this as a follow-up to my earlier posts is more so others know what to expect, rather than to complain. My order arrived today. Which was placed on November 26th. I was following tracking info across 3 different services to see what was happening. I've attached the shipping info for all 3 to show what they all say after delivery. What should be noted is it took 11 days for the shipment label to be created (7th Dec), then a further 22 before there was any movement (29th Dec). During this I placed a ticket on the 23rd, which got a reply on the 29th, a couple of hours before Wizmo finally updated to say "Parcel Scanned in Terminal". A reply in which the main takeaway was wait until the 3 week mark before asking LTT to investigate further, something I wasn't looking forward to since it took 5 days to get that response.

Once the package started to move delivery took about 20 days. I know how busy it is ordering during Thanksgiving, I knew it wasn't likely my items would arrive by Christmas. But I do not think it is unreasonable to expect my order to at least be in transit by Christmas. 33 days before any movement is not acceptable. So despite assurances from LTT support, I waited hoping my package would arrive, rather than expecting it which rather dampened the excitement when it did arrive. Part of me wishes I hadn't bothered.

The products I ordered seem well-made and I look forward to using them. In future I'd like a screwdriver, and a backpack. However until something changes in their shipping and communication I don't think it is worth the delivery experience.
