Hi, I am building a pc for around $800 and was wondering should I get the H440 or the 450d? I dont care about noise as much as other people as long as it is not blasting noise out of the case. So which one should I get? H440 or 450d? Thanks for the help and if you have any other cases suggestions for $120 or less thank would be appreciated as well.

Really comes down to Preference. I would get the H440.

Don't you think it's a bit much to spend $100+ on a case in a $800 build? You could get a cheaper good case like the Antec one and be able to have more money to spend on more important components like the GPU.

Both these cases are fantastic. I've had the fortune of playing with both of them, and I must say - They're awesome. But, as with everything else in life - they each have their pros & cons.

However, this is such a personal preference.. Nothing we say would help you.

Even our opinions would be rather subjective, due to which someone has & hasn't used. With that bias, the opinion wouldn't help you anyways.

But as I mentioned, I have used both, only once each. And if I had to pick of the two (which is very hard) I would have to go with the NZXT H440.

thanks for the help but i have taking the advice of anthony10 and chosen two other case in the $80 range instead. They are the 300r or the N600 not sure still need to do research.

don't be so quick to dismiss the H440, it is in fact priced very aggressively. (more expensive but well worth the money in my opinion)

If your budget can be expanded slightly it would be optimal. Saving up for a few weeks and wait for the new intel cpus to be avaliable is a valid option in my opinion.

a budget z97 mobo and a refreshed i3/i5 and a 760/ 270x can be done with a 1000~ budget(possibly, depending on the new cpu pricing)

However, if your budget is firm, then go for a cheaper case. I would still wait to see what intel has to offer tho.

You can skip the hdd first and get it last. or you can get something similar with a i3 build. (z87 price should drop a little after the new cpus comes out)

H440 everytime, unless you like the look of a 450D, or still buy disk games/don't have a USB optical drive.
