Pictures below. So heres the story. My friend bought this thing off of Face Book marketplace. He doesn't really know anything about computers. Don't  hesitate to give your honest opinions.  (He knows about this post and what is contains, if you want his opinion you can message him at:https://linustechtips.com/profile/1058790-barley_works772/) We both wanted to see the hilarious reactions from the community and are not hurt (and will not be hurt, as its all jokes) by any of these posts. He just joined the forums recently in order to watch the comedy show live. I'm not trying to be mean... We're joking around... but its just funny. How do you get "Unknown" for memory? :)))) And his PC spontaniously crashes. I asked him if he ever dropped his computer before. He said no. But his friend decided to do hurtles over it and knocked it over. Me: your drive is corrupted. Him: whats that?

Not everyone will know what is in a pc. Ad long as it works thats fine.

 

If its that big of an issue go help your friend and get this system back into functional shape

At the very least, the seller could have cleaned the case out and make it look nicer. This alone just tells me they didn't take care of it that much.

This thing is old and flat out bad. 300$ would have gotten you something from this decade.

 

If their goal was to get a cheap gaming pc welp they got basically an officr computer

 

the only thing maybe worth keeping is the psu. Other than that its all old crap.

Yeah as everyone else has said, what a ripoff with a FX processor and 1050 Ti. I haven't seen blue motherboards in awhile except for OEMs like Dell, HP etc. Much more common 15 years ago AFAIK.

The GPU alone is worth maybe $100, the rest maybe $50 ...

Lol I did the build with all new parts in pcpartpicker and it costs $300. It should've gone for 100$

How even? Likr only thr gpu is still purchaseable. Unless you meant substitute parts cuz even a ryzen 200ge slaps this thing out of the water.

This is productive forum. Posts where intention is to just joke around belong to Off Topic or as Status Updates.

 

This, apart from RAM, is normal budget PC from 2012, upgraded with GPU couple years later. Possibly bought used or built by someone looking for quick cash. Bit dusty, but nothing more than that. If you talk about it, or the seller, dismissively, it shows more about the person you are overall than what they are as PC user.
