Not receiving notifications for a followed sub-forum

This is an artifact of how topics in Techlinked Sources are posted - they are initially posted as hidden topics so the link can be added to youtube/etc, then unhidden, but that means the follower notifications don't get sent. We work around it for some other types of scheduled topics, but I don't think there's an easy option for this workflow specifically.

Browser, version and OS: 

Safari 16.2, macOS Ventura, although I doubt this is related to the browser

 

What happened?

I'm following the TechLinked Source sub-forum, but I've not been receiving any notification for anything new posted in that sub-forum for a while at this point

 

What did you expect to happen?

TO receive a notification when a thread is created.

I also follow the Tech News sub-forum, but I receive notifications for them as is normal.

I've also tried unfollowing and then refollowing, but to no avail
