Frame drops due to mouse movement

When i move my mouse in games my frames drop from 230 ish in val to 90 and im not sure what the problem is> ive updated the drivers and disabled all background apps but that still hasnt worked. I am also on windows 11 if that helps

Whats your mouses polling rate? Ive heard if the rate is too high this can be very taxing on your cpu, you could try adjusting that to see if it makes a difference. I suspect this isn't the issue though. 

 

You should also monitor your cpu and gpu usage while in game to see where the bottleneck is happening.

i have a 1660 super a ryzen 3 5300g 16 gigs ram clocked at 2400 2 512 gig ssds HP Gaming TG01/TP01 TPC-F124-MT AM4 Motherboard L56021-601/ 001 for the mother board and a 450 w power supply

Very under-powered. But what are your mouse specs. since this is what you posted about ?
