The pc does not turn on and the hdd led blinking

Hi

My computer didn't turn on one morning and I noticed that the HDD led is blinking.
I tried to clear the CMOS but it didn't work. I checked all the cables.
I tried unplugging everything and it still wouldn't post.I tried other rams but nothing happened. I took the cooler off the processor and the processor got warm.

Anyone have any ideas?

Specifications of the machine:

Asus B85M-E
I7-4790k
Asus Rog Strix 1070 ti 8Gb
Psu (brand new) 500w
1tb hdd
500gb Kingston SSD

I've tried but nothing but I put the GPU in another machine and it works fine. After that I tried to change the rams but nothing.

Try a different display, and different display cables.

I will try to do that. But even the keyboard doesn't light up like it used to.

Understood. I thought maybe the PC was booting up, but there was some issue with the GPU/Display because you mentioned that the HDD activity LED was blinking, which could indicate the system was booting properly but not displaying.

But now I fear you have a defective part. Maybe the motherboard or CPU.
