The card is still holding together. Was replacing the thermal pads and the weak torx heads head stripped.

I hope that's not the solution I have to go to cause even broken 3090's go for too much $$.

What brand of bit/bitdriver did you use? Coming from the mid/high end knife community, I can 100% say that cheap bits can ruin torx or hex head bolts, especially really small ones. I had to spend $200 to replace a set of titanium screws with Hex heads on a knife not too long ago, that was when I ran over to Amazon and bought Wiha bits for my tool kit.

You might be able to find replacement torx screws on ebay, but I don't know the thread size and pitch so I can't really help there, sadly.

If it’s just a stripped head go to the hardware store with the bad screw. Match it to a screw in a bin. Pay very little and be done with it.

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

I will find your mentions of Ikea or Gnome and I will /s post.

I used some amazon brand of PC bits to take it apart. Used this set to take apart hundreds of Pcs to do repairs on this is the first issue I have had that was caused my the tools I was using.

I goggled this a bit and it's a fairly common problem, apparently. Looks like the factory over torqued at least one of the screws, I'll be NVidia gets constant requests for replacement parts.

Using a high quality bit can help, but in this case, I'm willing to bet that the screw head is too soft for application, plus over torqued at the factory, so there's a chance that nothing would have been able to remove that without it getting damaged or destroyed.

Good luck, wish I could help you with replacement part sourcing, but screws that small can be a challenge to find. D:

If anyone knows where to source screws with these specs, would be very much appreciated. I'm not having luck online searching.

I find M2X3 cap bolts, but they tend to either be titanium, or T5 instead of T6.

You might end up having to get silver heads, if you want T6. I think that you might be able to find black anodized titanium fasteners on Etsy that will work, but I'm not really sure... Let me keep looking.
