@Linus @Luke Loving the Arc Challenge! Can't wait for part 2. For anyone who might be willing to take one for the team in promoting GPU competition and doesn't need to game (like...at all), what about Arc for beginner to intermediate 3D modeling/printing? Is it not enough? Is it overkill? Even though I watched the review on it with all the benchmarks, I'm still learning and don't really understand the application of those benchmarks toward 3D modeling.

Would love to get anyone's thoughts on that.

Hey maybe it's even content-worthy, like an update to the 3D Modeling and Design Video from 4 years ago   https://youtu.be/G-90qEJAVkU

3D modelling with what software?

also, last i checked 3D printing has nothing to do with GPU because slicers are cpu workloads.

Well, I am just starting so I was thinking Fusion 360 or similar.

Even if the slicing part would be CPU, wouldn't the modeling portion be GPU?

fusion 360 is dx11, so arc isnt a good choice there.

Ah! Ok. Wow, so many factors to consider, so much still to learn. Thanks. So, what would be a good fit for arc? I'm not just looking for excuses to buy it, just trying to learn.

any dx12 workloads, as well as encoding- especially AV1. So basically newer games, and video editing/recording game clips.
