Wattage Recommendation for PSU

Hi,

 

I thought 600W 80+Gold is the one I need but is it overkill for YouTube, internet, Paint.NET or GIMP graphic programs and occasional gaming sessions lasting 4 hours?

Here's the specifications of computer I need to know the wattage for:

 

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600X
MB: Gigabyte Aorus Elite B450 rev 1.0
RAM: 2x8GB 3200MHz Corsair Vengeance LPX
Video Card: EVGA GeForce RTX 2060
HDD: Western Digital 2TB 5200RPM
SSD: 250GB Samsung 970 EVO Plus

Chassis: CoolerMaster MasterBox MB511 (1 rear and 3 front 120mm fans)

600W would be slight overkill, but not massively so. A better question would be: Which power supplies are you looking at?

if you check the build on PCpartpicker it will give you an estimated wattage, multiply that by 1.5 (add 100 to the total if you are using Nvidia cards) and that will be the wattage you want.

a 550w or 600w psu would be what i recommend for your current setup

also you may get better perf if you go with a cheaper 1tb SSD, a 5600 or 5600x, and a 6600XT

Corsair only. RMx or RM line. Is RMx okay? I read it has Japanese capacitors, better fan with zero-RPM feature. I prefer fully-modular. Not sure about SF, CV, CX lines and if they are fully-modular.
