If it is a true budget build I would drop that cooler, the cpu already comes with one, and CL16 ddr4 3200mhz should cost about 50€, not 70, so find a different seller/kit.

Now you have already saved 40€ that you can put towards an RX6800.

Try to find a bit of budget more, and then get the RX 6800 instead of the 6700 for 4k, it is highly recommendable.

While at 4k 6700 gets barely over 60fps, the 6800 gets about 85, so I feel like the extra 100€ is justifiable to get a far more future proof GPU for 4k gaming.

Obviously if your budget is tight you can just drop the graphics settings in future games to hit 60fps on the 6700.

I only see your reply if you @ me.

I'd agree that a bit more GPU would be nice to have. I was running a 3070 on 4k TV and it was ok with appropriate settings, but I felt like it could do with a bit more.

It came nicely to 1,220 EUR just below my budget with shipping included 🙂

I have a long history with the seller website and I haven't got much of a choice either here in Malta because we're an island like Cyprus, we get overshadowed a lot when it comes to shipping restrictions 😕

Wow, looks really nice for a 1k€ pc, nicely done. It will crush everything in 4k.

I only see your reply if you @ me.

Thanks! Well maybe for now but I'm a bit afraid for future 4k AAA games truth be told, it's either 1.1k next month for that system or I wait for the 7800 xt who knows when and I'd have a bit bigger budget, but honestly I don't wish to wait 6 months haha

4K is not for poor people or people that have a budget.

I don't think you actually understand how resolutions work.

The higher resolution you game on the more often you have to upgrade. To play at 4K you essentially have to upgrade to the best GPU every generation which is every 2 years. Can you do that? Go look up CP2077 benchmarks. Even the 3090 could barely get 60 FPS and the 4090 does get over 60 FPS but not by much and the game is years old. There are going to be games like CP2077 coming out nearly every year and each time they will be difficult to run at 4K even with the newest hardware.

You can maybe build a setup right now that somewhat plays games at 4K but by next year it'll be too slow and give you awful frame rates.

Resolution does not become "outdated". We don't magically get more FPS every GPU generation unless you're planning to play only CP2077 forever. Every time GPUs become more powerful games get better graphics which push the FPS down even if the resolution stays the same. I would return that TV you bought and stick to 1080p or at least 1440p.

While I thank you for your opinion and input I just disagree with a couple points you made.

1.) Just because I have a tight budget now, doesn't mean in 2 years I will be the same situation financially. I'm just in a tight spot for now and I game at 1080p currently, just wish to make the jump to 4K sooner rather than later and want to get entry level 4K for now.

2.) The same was said for 1080p and 1440p, back when we still used 768p monitors. Now look at now, entry level cards destroy 1080p and are 1440p capable as well.

3.) I am happy with the LG TV I bought, if shove comes to push I can always drop the resolution in the game to 1080p. It will still look decent from 6 feet away, I already tried with my current rig.
