RTX 2060 LED lights turns on but no fan and display

Raymart0000001

Hello everyone,

I just got a new (old) gpu that I bought second hand and when I tried placing it in my pc, the gpu lights is the only one that turns on and I got no display. I am wondering if it is a bad gpu slot or just a underpowered gpu. Any thoughts?

Ryzen 7 1700

32gb 3600mhz ram

corsair RM750i

256 ssd

500 hdd

Try to clear CMOS? Early to point at a bad unit but is always possible. Try your old GPU (assuming you still have it) and see if it boots.

If you haven't yet, update the BIOS to the most recent version (that supports your CPU -- don't go for an experimental/beta bios and make sure that the new bios still supports 'Summit Ridge' processors)
