Subsequent searches lose custom date filter after selecting suggested phrase or filter

Steps to reproduce/what were you doing before it happened?

When using custom date filters if you select a suggested search term or filter the custom date filter will no longer be applied on subsequent searches.

 

1. Perform a word search on the forum with a custom date filter applied
2. Select any of the "Didn't find what you were looking for?" suggested filters or phrases
3. Perform another search from the same search page and the custom date filter is no longer applied

 

 

What did you expect to happen?

To retain the date filter with subsequent searches.

Any other relevant details:

Performing subsequent searches from the same search page normally retains the custom date filter.

Only happens when using a custom date filter.

Using Last Day/Week/Month/year keeps the date filter applied on subsequent searches after selecting a suggested search result/filter.

Other filters (eg. Appearing in Topic Titles, In specific subforums) remains on subsequent searches

 

 

I imagine there are very few situations where people will bump in to this so not a priority to fix but unintended behaviour nonetheless.
