Can Vivo Y16 be rooted ?

So I been loking around for a custom recovery for the Vivo Y16 but I am not sure if I can find one. I have looked at using kingroot and that failed cuz I am running android 12 and Twrp does not have a custom recovery. Does anyone know how to root this phone if posible at all ?

As long as bootloader is unlockable and you can use adb to install custom recovery then on any phone its possible just that the ones with smaller communities like these vivo phones tend to not have a custom recovery

 

If you were looking to root you should have just bought a damn xiaomi, massive community, also their flagships depreciate like crazy so if you want high specs 11t pro is like 400$ atleast here in indo with used at 350$ and used 10t pro at 260$, snap 888 and snap 865 respectively

Yea I got to the part where I could type the unlock command and all it does is say waiting for device and thing happens
