Are there any services like Netflix for games?

Camul

Really fed up of paying for games that I hate or don't play. Is there a service that I can pay to get access to games that I can either stream or download?

Gamefly?

Other than that, the only easy solution is to pirate and try.

Too bad demos aren't a thing anymore.

For my pertinent links to guides, reviews, and anything similar, go here, and look under the spoiler labeled such. A brief history of Unix and it's relation to OS X by Builder.

Don't Gamefly only ship the disc to you? I tried looking on Gamefly Digital and I couldn't find anything about a subscription.

Oh, I remember them. I thought they went out of business. :P Thanks.

They did. I have no idea why they still exist.

OnLive is a disaster, avoid it.

I remember not being very impressed with it when it first came out. The video quality was awful and the response times were awful. I'm hoping that they'd have improved it since, but I take it that's not the case?

Incidentally, I use pirated versions games to treat as a demo and if I like it, I buy a legit copy.

Latency is it's downfall, until the internet is latency free it won't cut it.

If someone pitched OnLive to me with the internet in its current state I'd laugh at them.

Yeah, I just installed it and even navagating their 'dashboard' is pretty bad. They offer a 7 day free trail so I'll check that out, see if it's really as awful as I'm expacting it to be.

For like $20 a month you can get 2 discs sent to you at a time if you play on consoles. I think for the lower subscription you still get access to their PC game rental, but that's only for older games since nobody lets you digitally rent the newer ones.

Gamefly is as close as you'll get legally, but I don't know if they ship outside of the US.
