Custom AIO

Country: US

Wanted to hear thoughts on this setup (disreguarding the reservoir).  The pump is only from a 240 AIO but draws power from a sata power cable.  It circulates through a 120, 240, and 360 radiator as well as the 2080 super waterforce gpu.  It seems to push fluid fine but my main concern is the pumps longevity.  Its been way cheaper to build with nonfunctioning aios (I have considered removing the guts of an aio to use as a heatsink and have an external pump).

RYZEN 2700, Gigabyte 450 Aorus M, Aorus 2080 super, 16 GB T-Force Delta 3200, 512 GB XPG S7, 4TB Barracuda20221022_193657.thumb.jpg.049783bfa97de361cb91cdf292fd65d2.jpg

That's some amazing ingenuity.

Why would you worry about the pump anymore than you would with it as an intact AIO?

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

I will find your mentions of Ikea or Gnome and I will /s post.

Its a 20 fl oz gatorade bottle with a little bit of silicone around the hoses, I left some air in it since its a closed loop system(air compresses easier so it keeps the inside pressure lower when it heats up).  I worry about the pump because of the increased back pressure from the 120 radiator, 360 radiator, and the gpu water block

u might wanna use coolant with anti-corrosion & biocide...

I used the same coolant from the AIOs.  I know it has a form of antifreeze/anticorrosion in it, and I plan on shortening some of the hoses and tidying it up some before theres a chance of algae.

it will kill the pump but who cares i guess when your doing this...

ill go bit more detal.

so an aio is designed to hit a performance at a cost and nothing is going to be over engineered for it if it dose not need too so increasing the water way with each bend added adds more lode to the pump. head presher. witch should shorten its life. then your adding different additives to what was used and probably added more air in to it so its not as closed loop as it once was. but just a guess no one really knows...

but ill be concerned of leaks more so and so what if it dies. buy a new one. the point on this was to save a penny... 🤔

have aios lasted over say 8+ years ya... they also can die with in a few moths... just like any other pc part out there...

are there lemons ya (msi)...

not only that but did you chemically clean the gator-ad bottle? did you look up the property's of the sealant and how it mixes with the premix of the aios? do you even no what the aio mix uses?
