SLI GTX 760s vs 290

minimoose

For 1440P should I sell my GTX 760 and get one R9 290, or should I get a second 760?  Also my PSU is a 600 watt bronze certified PSU, is that enough for SLI 760s?

I would just get a single R9 290 instead.

Single 290.

More VRAM, works in non-SLI enabled games, a single card solution>dual low-mid range card solution.

I would just get a single R9 290 instead.

How much can I get for my 760?

I guess this is a general rule of thumb: single GPUs are generally going to be more stable than dual/multi GPUs.

If you can get an inexpensive, new R9 290, then go ahead, if not maybe a GTX 780, and if that doesn't work, then maybe a GTX 780 or R9 280X. Well, it's all on your money, so pick and choose.
