You pay for the company, not the card. There's nothing innately special about EVGA cards.

 

Could always span it across both my 23" monitors, lol

If you can get a decent aftermarket 280x (i.e. any from Gigabyte, Asus, MSI) go for it as long as it's not much more expensive than a 770.

also you can't really span games across 2 monitors.

GTX 770 is plenty for 1080p 23", 3GB of Vram is a little overkill and you'll never use it on a 23" monitor.

You can only play games on one monitor or across 3 with surround/eyefinity. Sorry bud =P

Put it in windowed mode and span across. Most games will auto correct aspect ratio and they look fine

True, but for some games running in windowded or borderless fullscreen yields slightly less FPS. Plus, the center of your screen will be split between the bezel of your monitors.

Their cooler isnt the best, look here
